i don’t remember when, but definitely some time over a year ago i asked a friend if she’d be my c.s.lewis after telling her that it was he who encouraged j.r.r. tolkien to write for about a decade to produce ltr.

we drifted apart for a while for different reasons but recently came to draw our heads together to commiserate in her sadness. and while i’m there to comfort her in anyway during her trying times, she’s here to challenge me to write something, anything.

not for anyone, but for her, i think i can muster up my courage to write.

the good and the bad come in so many different and unexpected forms in our lives.
